The science test on volcanoes will be on Monday, January 30. Today in class we went over what will be on the test. Your child has notes that they've taken on volcanoes that they should study for this test. They've learned a lot, and all of the material we've covered will be on the test!
Our Social Studies topic for the month of February is Black History Month and our Science topic is Health/Personal Hygiene.
Welcome to the classroom blog for the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade class at Orcas Christian School. The purpose of this blog is to keep you informed on what is happening in our classroom. Here you will find info on what we are currently studying, projects, homework, field trips, and other events. You may even find some student work and pictures!

It's 4:43 pm and the classroom reeks of vinegar...
...because we had such an amazingly fun day with our Volcano Extravaganza Event! Here are a few snapshots that capture the highlights of the day.
Delicious volcano cake made by Cole and his mom
The cake pop crew!
As parents, you should be bustin' your buttons because your children did INCREDIBLE jobs on both their volcano presentations and their volcano models. I was blown away by the creativity and hard work they put into these things. WAY TO GO, KIDS!
